Welcome to Inner Life Transformations

In Person and Online Spiritual and Pastoral Counseling

This informational document provides you with the information that you need to ensure that you are receiving the best professional services possible and your agreement to receive those services through in person or online counseling also known as telecounseling.

  1. Inner Life Transformations, Inc. is the first international online counseling and coaching center in the world. Since 2011, we have been providing in person and online spiritual and pastoral counseling services to people throughout the United States and around the world.  You may visit our website at www.InnerLifeTransformations.org to learn more about us and our work.

  2. Credentials: Dr. Norris and his team are highly-experienced counselors and coaches with over 120 years of experience. Go to the Our Team page to see the credentials of each professional spiritual counselor (Tom, Lisa, Stacy, Miheala, Siramid, and Cate).

  3. Counseling: From our experience, Online Counseling appears to be as helpful as in person counseling.  In addition to the discussion of your issues, it has been successful in conducting meditations, inner child regressions, past life regressions, chakra balancing, and other spiritual healing techniques.  Whether in person or online, as with any type of counseling, it can stir up painful and unresolved issues, so it is important that you report immediately any time that you feel overwhelmed, highly depressed or highly anxious so we can deal with it right away.

  4. Confidentiality: We underscore that all communications between us regarding your counseling are completely confidential.  Confidentiality is a sacred trust between counselor and counselee.

  5. Good Communication: If you are concerned about any aspect of the counseling, please tell your counselor immediately.  That way you can resolve any misunderstandings or issues of friction.

  6. Closure Session:  We ask that you hold a final discussion session if you decide to leave counseling for any reason.  This is for your benefit.  That way the counselor can discuss your reasons for leaving and review issues and progress.  It is always your right to terminate counseling, but the discussion session allows us to understand your reasons and review any issues that need to be addressed.

  7. If you are under age 18, I will need your parent’s written approval to work with you.  They can sign this form with you.

  8. Please be on time.  Counseling sessions last 50 minutes.  If online, please wait until I call you through Facetime, Skype or Zoom.  If in person, please wait in the lobby and I will come and get you.  Ring the doorbell if the door is locked.

  9. Payment for services should be provided at the time of service, although payment plans are available.  Our standard fee is $150.00 per session, but we have a sliding fee scale to $75 per session, so we are happy to work with your budget within that range.  Payments may be made by cash, check, debit/credit card, PayPal, Zelle, or Venmo.

  10. Please provide 24 hours notice if you must cancel your session.  There are many people who need and desire these services, so this gives us time to contact someone else who needs the time.  If you do not show up or fail to give 24 hours notice (except, of course, in unavoidable medical and accident emergencies), we will charge the full fee for the missed session.

  11. Text Me: The best way to reach Tom is through text at 786-201-2468. The best way to reach your counselor or coach is to text them. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment online, please text us to let us know of the change.

Please sign this document that you have read the above policies and that you agree to receive in person and/or online counseling services.  Thank you.

Sincerely,

Rev, Dr, Thomas L. Norris

Spiritual Counseling

Spiritual counseling is a very powerful healing modality that takes a step away from traditional therapies by combining the best of psychological and spiritual principles.  Like a compass, it gives us direction and helps us connect with our soul's purpose and passion. We begin to transform naturally, from the inside out and outside in. We find our balance in our relationships, in our careers, in our friendships, in our purpose, in our values, and within ourselves.
